Summer Courses 2025

The International Center for Italian Studies at the University of Genoa is once again organizing, for 2025, courses in Italian language and culture aimed at students from all over the world. These courses will be taught by professors from the University and other highly qualified instructors.

The courses will take place in Santa Margherita Ligure, at the prestigious Villa Durazzo, from August 20 to September 26, 2025. The teaching activities will be divided into Italian language courses, which will be formed on the basis of the enrollees’ language proficiency ascertained by an initial placement test. The courses will include Italian language classes in the morning and Italian culture classes in the afternoon.

Cultural visits in the surrounding area will be organized, at which all students will participate together, always accompanied by the course instructors. Attendance is mandatory for at least 85% of the lessons.

The enrollment fee is €790.00 and includes Italian language and culture classes, seminars, and lunch on class days.

A non-refundable deposit of €190.00 is required and must be paid according to the instructions provided in the application form.

Scholarships will also be available for international students with documented Ligurian ancestry and for international students of any origin.

To enroll in the course, you must complete and sign the enrollment form and pay the 190.00 deposit.

For more detailed instructions on how to enroll, please refer to the “Enrollment” section on this website.

A minimum of 10 participants is required for the Italian courses to be activated.
