Enrolment 2026

The International Centre for Italian Studies at the University of Genoa is organising Italian language and culture summer courses for foreigners at its historic Villa Durazzo campus in Santa Margherita Ligure in 2026.

2026 COURSES

This year we are offering courses of varying lengths:

• from 29 June to 17 July 2026

• from 6 July to 17 July 2026

• from 25 August to 25 September 2026

The courses are divided into different levels based on the language skills of the participants, which will be assessed by an initial test. Italian language lessons take place in the morning; Italian culture lessons take place in the afternoon. Attendance is compulsory for 85% of lessons.

There will also be cultural visits in the local area, in which all course participants will take part together, accompanied by the course teachers. Cultural visits also count towards the attendance threshold.
